Hey, good news, i started on my SMRP project!!
Ok, tell u wat we did...
1st lab session: We were lyk stunned when we entered the lab. We had to read the rules and regulations and then need to take a quiz on the thingy. Obviosly passed lah. Den we went on to discuss on the rational of the project. LAter, we were owned by a reading Sandra gave us. Lol. Dam chem.
We had to find out how much of each ingredient to use to form the gel that we were using for the experiment. Lol. Not funny. It had to be done in %. Yah, we sent like 30 min on that.
LAter we were filling the plastic bottles with the ingredients. Obviously got lots of error. But... the best thing is that we left out 2 main things: (TEOS) and the acid. Lol.
2nd lab session: The mixture created yesterday was screwed up. It wasnt a gel, it was seperated into different layers. We found out that acid and (TEOS) was needed. Den discussed the % again. We also learnt something called the mol/dm3... it was hard to calclate. But nvm, we got it...
So that was like a summary for the lab sessions.
And i din get selected for the jap immersion prgramme. FUCK.
Btw, preston still doesn't wan to start on the lit review. "Go find topic loh" he says. Nice!
