Today's blog is just mainly a reflection on my match in the club team.

I played 4 matches today. The first one I was nervous and unable to concentrate. The whole game was crap. Things became better when it reached 13 1. I began to get the feel. The second game was much better. My defence was not bad as I was able to take the uncles smashes. Then I began to be able to move better. Uncle Koon Meng told be not to stay too far back when attacking. He said that I need to come in about court so I can take half court pushes. I began to see the uncle making cross blocks and pushes when defending. Then I tried them too. Quite effective. Lol. Later I played singles with Uncle Koon Meng. I got trashed 15-4, 15-1. I sort of did play very well during the match. And I found out that my forehand is weaker than my backhand. My accuracy was also not there. After the match, I was told that I cannot be too rush to execute a shot. He says that the player will be moving back to the center after every shot. And if I rush the shot into the same direction, the shot will not be effective. I had to wait till the guy move back to the center before smashing or punching him to catch him. And I learnt that, When I do a hard shot, all I need to do is rush in to the net with my racket up to get a tap or a push. Hais. I saw uncle use double action to trick me. He says that I have to try out these deception shot during training to get them and be able to use them during tournament. Think thats a good idea. But I think I will try them later...
